Nervous System Diseases:
- Multiple Sclerosis: Caused by destruction of myelin sheath by viruses. Conduction system freezes up.
- Alzheimer’s: Cannot be confirmed until dead with autopsy. Deterioration of cerebral cortex causes loss of memory.
- Epilepsy: Seizure disorder.
- Meningitis: Inflammation of the meninges, the things on the spinal cord. Caused by viruses and spread through oral secretions. Causes headaches and makes people sensitive to light.
- Parkinson’s: When there is a decrease of dopamine and alters neurotransmitters, making it hard to move.
- Bell's Palsy: An unexplained episode of facial muscle weakness or paralysis that begins suddenly and steadily worsens.
- Carpal Tunnel: Problem in the musculoskeletal system
- Hydrocephalus: When there is an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid on the brain, also known as "water on the brain".
- Cerebropalsy: Motor condition that causes physical disability in human development, mostly in the various areas of body movement.
- Encephalitis: A viral infection of the brain.
