- Cystic Fibrosis: Abnormal transport of chloride and sodium across an epithelium, leading to thick, viscous secretions
- Lung Cancer: A cancer of the lungs, mainly caused by smoking cigarettes. Characterized by uncontrolled cell growth in the lung tissue.
